Producer’s Circle members find joy in the MIM Music Theater

Jack Watson and Genie Trotter, the second couple to join MIM’s Producer’s Circle when it was established in 2015, see the MIM Music Theater as a true extension of the museum’s galleries. The Producer’s Circle directly supports the theater and helps bring artists from around the world to Phoenix.

We like to support the causes that we care about and focus on things that are unique to Arizona. There’s really nothing like MIM anywhere else.

Watson and Trotter often attend performances at MIM Music Theater and favor the intimate setting it offers. They appreciate the diversity of acts that come to the theater; some of their favorite performances have included the baroque orchestra Apollo’s Fire; Americana and folk singer-songwriter Rhiannon Giddens; and Black Violin, a duo who blends classical, hip-hop, rock, R&B, and bluegrass music.

“MIM is something we really enjoy and we are happy to support the museum in any way we can. We can’t give millions of dollars, but we can give a little, and we love being a part of helping make the museum so special,” says Watson.

Last year, MIM Music Theater hosted 258 concerts and the Producer’s Circle helps that number continue to grow, while showcasing both local and international artists from a multitude of genres.
