Wireless Audio | Wireless "hot spots" around MIM will provide loops of streamed music to share with guests the sounds and music of instruments played alone or together. The displays will be sufficiently spaced to minimize any interference in the streamed music. Advances in wireless audio technology will enable MIM to immerse the guest in music as he or she walks through the entire museum.
Flat-Panel Monitors | LCD displays will show videos of instruments being played whenever possible. Clips from historical movies and other sources will provide additional context.
Audio and video displays will be a major educational asset.
Media and rights | MIM will source many audio and visual materials from existing collections. We will also form relationships with institutions museums, film studios and record labels which will allow us to supplement these materials.
