Music-Making Workshop 10:00 & 11:00 a.m., 1:30 & 2:30 p.m. Event Room 3 Join Junior Museum Guides for a fun, family-friendly musical activity that teaches a familiar Brazilian tune on the Loog Mini, a three-string guitar.
Performance: WillfromBrazil Band 10:30–11:00 a.m. North El Río Hear the traditional sounds of Brazil during this acoustic trio performance.
Curator Talk 11:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m. Event Room 2 Join Daniel Piper, curator for Latin America, for a presentation delving into the musical and cultural diversity of Brazil.
Performance: Axe Capoeira Arizona 12:30–1:15 p.m. North El Río Watch a demonstration of a martial arts-fused dance that originated in Rio de Janeiro.
Performance: Bossa Brazil 3:15–4:00 p.m. North El Río Unwind with a bossa nova performance.
