Phoenix-based vocalist Khani Cole entered the national and international consciousness after her very first release, Piece of My Soul. Cole’s follow-up, Places, featured a cover of the classic Blood, Sweat & Tears hit, “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy,” that ascended the Top 30 Adult Contemporary radio charts. Cole’s newest production is entitled “Heart of Gold—A Celebration of Neil Young.” It features singer-guitarist Al Ortiz, who has toured with Stevie Nicks for the past 25 years. The show includes Cole’s eclectic interpretations of Neil Young classics.
