A founding member of jazz group Fourplay, Lee Ritenour is a Grammy-winning guitarist whose storied career includes session work with the Mamas and the Papas, Lena Horne, and Tony Bennett. During his dazzling five-decade career, the L.A. guitarist has taken his music to the outer limits, alighting on every genre and occupying every position in the rock ’n’ roll firmament. Ritenour has recorded 45 albums, and his accolades include numerous number-one spots on guitar polls, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian SJ Awards, and a prestigious “Alumnus of the Year” Award from the University of Southern California. Weaving tapestries of instrumental guitar and conjuring eclectic moods, the 12 tracks of his 2020 release, Dreamcatcher, rank among the most melodic and tinglingly beautiful in Ritenour’s catalog.
