Museum Guide Information Session and Open House

Curious about leading youth and adult tours at MIM?

This free session will provide an overview of the fun-filled and exciting museum guide assignment.

MIM museum guides lead youth and adult tours. They are passionate lifelong learners who encourage guests to discover new people, new cultures, and new styles of music while building connections to the museum’s vast collection. You don’t need a musical background to join the team—just a love of sharing stories in a fun, active environment!

Museum guide fall training

Museum guide training consists of a five-and-a-half-week class that meets every Monday and Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., beginning October 12.
