Before his performance on Sunday, April 2, at the MIM Music Theater, Steve Smith will present a master class. In addition to being a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame drummer, Smith is also a first-rate teacher. He will share his philosophy on musicianship, technique, and performance. Attendees should bring a notepad and a writing utensil to the master class; drumsticks and rubber practice pads are not required, but attendees are welcome to bring them.

Video recording of the entire session is strictly prohibited.

Master class tickets are limited to ensure that everyone comes away with a unique and hands-on experience. Expected start time is 4:00 p.m.; exact start time will be communicated to ticket buyers about one week before the master class.

Master class tickets do not include admission to Steve Smith and Vital Information’s 7:00 p.m. concert.
