Tickets on sale to the public on August 4 at 10:00 a.m.

PHOENIX (July 22, 2022) – The MIM Music Theater is excited to announce its Fall 2022 Concert Series, with tickets on sale to the public on August 4 at 10:00 a.m. The new series, which runs September through December, includes nearly 40 concerts spanning multiple genres and featuring artists from around the world.

This season’s highlights include a special return performance from singer-songwriter Janis Ian, who also hosts a songwriting master class at MIM; an intimate evening of songs and stories with Suzanne Vega; Grammy-winning trumpeter Chris Botti; and singer-songwriter Sophie B. Hawkins, who celebrates the 30th anniversary of her debut album, Tongues and Tails.

The Fall 2022 Concert Series also welcomes several artists who will perform at the MIM Music Theater for the first time. New artists include Australian singer and pianist Sarah McKenzie, emerging retro jazz vocalist Emmaline, Afro-Cuban funk musician Cimafunk, award-winning young jazz singer Samara Joy, and acclaimed jazz drummer and bandleader Makaya McCraven.

Concertgoers can also look forward to the return of several favorites to the MIM Music Theater, including Grammy-nominated jazz guitarist Julian Lage, Scottish Celtic rock group Skerryvore, and the Grammy-nominated and Latin Grammy-winning all-woman mariachi group Flor de Toloache.

“We are incredibly excited about the lineup for this year’s Fall Concert Series,” says MIM Music Theater manager Patrick Murphy. “The MIM Music Theater rapidly gained a national reputation for programming that is both powerful and eclectic, giving voice to performers from all walks of life and from all around the world. This fall, we will feature performers ranging from burgeoning stars to the critically acclaimed, from intimate solos to dense spectacles, and from singer-songwriters to rock and roll.”

Members who give $250 or more annually can buy tickets at the Fall 2022 Concert Series Preview Event on Wednesday, July 27. Circle of Friends members who give $250 or more enjoy exclusive member benefits, including advance purchase opportunities for concerts and invitations to Concert Series Preview Events with MIM’s artistic director. Members who give $500 or more annually also receive 10% off concert tickets.
