Latin & Early Jazz Performance 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. (Saturday) Main Courtyard Join Josiel Perez’s Afro-Cuban All-Stars band for an energetic 30-minute performance highlighting the historical intersection of New Orleans’s early jazz and the early Latin jazz of Cuba.
Jazz Artist Tribute Performance 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. (Sunday) Main Courtyard Celebrate jazz artists born in April, from vocalist Ella Fitzgerald to drummer Steve Gadd, in this 30-minute performance with We3, featuring drummer Sheila Earley.
West Coast Jazz Performance 12:30–1:00 p.m. MIM Music Theater Enjoy the rich musical traditions of West Coast jazz with local band Union32 as they share popular tunes by Cal Tjader, Stan Getz, and Dave Brubeck in this performance led by Dr. Brett Reed.
