Honored by the National Endowment for the Arts as a 2010 Jazz Master, Kenny Barron has an unmatched ability to mesmerize audiences with his elegant playing, sensitive melodies, and infectious rhythms. He is joined onstage by trio members Kiyoshi Kitagawa and Johnathan Blake.
Whether Barron is playing solo or with his trio or quintet, the jazz pianist is recognized the world over as a master of performance and composition. He has earned 11 Grammy nominations, including Best Jazz Instrumental Album for the trio’s 2016 release, Book of Intuition. Barron was inducted into the American Jazz Hall of Fame in 2009.
