When Peter Cincotti sits down at a piano, the world is at his fingertips. A born and bred New Yorker, Cincotti became the youngest artist to reach number one on Billboard’s jazz charts when he released his debut album at age 18.
Cincotti has since performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, such as Carnegie Hall and L’Olympia in Paris, and collaborated with a diverse array of artists, including Andrea Bocelli and David Guetta. Along the way, his vibrant, socially aware songwriting caught the ear of 16-time Grammy winner David Foster. Foster produced Cincotti’s third album, East of Angel Town, which yielded the hit “Goodbye Philadelphia.”
Peter Cincotti has morphed genres and blended influences in a variety of ways, but his story currently unfolds over uncharted terrain on his most recent album, Long Way from Home. His next album, Killer on the Keys, will honor some of the most influential pianists of all time.
