Rickie Lee Jones is one of the most iconic American female singer-songwriters of her time. A seasoned humility brings her performances an authenticity that only long-enduring musicians achieve. Her artistry is brilliantly underlined in her 2019 album Kicks. The album spans two decades (1950s–1970s) of pop, rock, and jazz, presenting her unique and sophisticated interpretations of songs that were pivotal to her musical journey. In April 2021, Jones released her memoir Last Chance Texaco: Chronicles of an American Troubadour.
