Identical twins Adam and David Moss were born and raised in Peoria, Illinois, and originally based their indie folk duo the Brother Brothers in Brooklyn, but they have been ultimately and profoundly shaped by indiscriminate rambling. They are the kind of people who have a story about everything—and one you might genuinely like to hear.
Their third release on Compass Records, the aptly named Cover to Cover, is an album of covers inspired by inward reflection of their roots during a time of great uncertainty and creative insecurity. The Brother Brothers sing from the heart, no matter whose words they’re using.
