This concert presents a kaleidoscopic view of the 1973 Led Zeppelin recording Houses of the Holy, taking the audience through unexplored aspects of these classic songs. This jazz-inspired and improvisation-focused project is the latest from Union32, whose debut recording, Wild Horses, was released in 2020.
Led by Dr. Brett Reed, Union32 explores the rich musical traditions of various jazz composers and genres. For more than 10 years, Union32 has brought compelling music to audiences around the Southwest. Whether playing the music of West Coast jazz giants like Cal Tjader and Dave Brubeck, exploring Afro-Cuban jazz, or creating original jazz arrangements of classic rock records, Union32 presents vibrant and thrilling instrumental jazz music.
